Currently, the only operational Digital Repeater in Mountain Home (Ar.) is a DMR Repeater I have built. The Repeater can operate in Multiple Digital Modes including DMR, NXDN, Icom D-STAR and Yaesu FUSION, but is set to only accept DMR for now, and is not built to handle Analog FM traffic.

The repeater uses two Motorola Radios to provide for Transmit and Receive, and a four Cavity Duplexer.

The Repeater Controller was built using an Arduino Due, Raspberry Pi and a custom built Interface Board to handle interfacing to the radios and provide low pass filtering for the audio to and from the radios.  The controller has a LCD Display indicating the current operational state of the Controller/Repeater.

The Repeater is coordinated with the Arkansas Repeater Council.

The Repeater Frequency is 147.3 MHz with a Positive Offset.

For DMR use Color Code 1, with both Slots 1 & 2 being available.
On the Repeater you are using, use Slot 1 for local conversations.
On the Repeater you are using, use Slot 2 for remote Talk Groups.
Unless a Remote Talk Group has a specific Slot requirement, use the above recommendations.

The DMR ID for the Repeater 310255.
The Repeater ID can/should be used as a group ID for local conversation on the local Repeater.

This Repeater is connected to the BrandMeister DMR Network.

MY NOTES FROM DURING THE BUILD.

In building my MMDVM project (for DMR), I am using Arduino IDE 1.8.3 and SMA v1.6.11.

Instructions from the Internet, for building the Arduino DUE software package, guide you through editing the file 'platform.txt'.
I added the string ["arm_cortexM31_math.lib"] per the instructions and would receive error messages when I attempted to compile the software.  The error message said it could not find the file or directory for the "math.lib" file.
I verified the path, tried back-slashes and forward slahes, etc.
Everything looked perfect with the path statement, but I still got the error message.  Ultimately I focused on the file name itself "arm_cortexM31_math.lib". It appeard the only thing that could be easily misinterpreted is the character following the "3".  It appeared it was a "1" (one).  I tried a capital "I" (eye) and that was wrong, but when I tried the lower case "L" (el) the error messages were gone, and the program compiled without errors.

The LCD Display used is a Nextion Display model number NX3224T024.
The following software packages are available for using the Nextion Display, but is not needed.

MMDVM Instructions for setting up the Raspberry Pi will step you through the configuration of the software related to using the Nextion Display for this application.
